Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit nikdimon.com or contact me, why, and what your rights are. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors living in the European Union, on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Nikolaienko Dmytro, freelancer, canton of Vaud, Switzerland
E-mail: dmytro.nik.1991@gmail.com
WhatsApp: +41 79 509 35 20

2. Data collected

I only process the data I need:

  • Contact and quote forms: name, e-mail address, phone number, business name, message and chosen package, plus the page the request was sent from and campaign parameters (UTM).
  • Direct conversations: the information you send me by e-mail, WhatsApp or LinkedIn.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, date and time of the visit, referring site. It is recorded in the server logs and by the analytics tools described in section 4.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiries, preparing a quote and delivering the services ordered (pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract).
  • Keeping the site running and secure (legitimate interest).
  • Measuring site traffic and improving its content (your consent, given through the cookie banner).
  • Measuring how well my Google Ads campaigns work (your consent, given through the cookie banner).

I do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site uses technical cookies it needs to work (including the one that remembers your choice for 6 months), and the following tools, which may set cookies or similar identifiers:

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager: visit statistics (pages viewed, time on site, source, device type).
  • Google Ads conversion tracking: shows whether an enquiry or a click to WhatsApp came from an ad.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and anonymised replays of interactions (clicks, scrolling) to make the site easier to use.

On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent. Until you give it, Google Analytics and Google Ads run without cookies (Google’s consent mode) and Microsoft Clarity is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. The site still works without these cookies.

5. Service providers and recipients

I use the following providers, who process data on my behalf:

  • Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): website hosting and sending the form e-mails; servers located in the European Union.
  • MyInboxify (lead.myinboxify.com): enquiry management tool that receives a copy of the messages sent through the forms.
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; Google LLC, USA): analytics, ad tracking and fonts (Google Fonts).
  • Microsoft Corporation (USA): Microsoft Clarity.
  • jsDelivr: delivers a JavaScript library (image gallery); your IP address is passed to it when the file loads.
  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): displays a partner banner in the footer.

Links to WhatsApp (Meta) and LinkedIn only send data to those services if you click them; their own privacy policies then apply. I do not pass your data to any other third party unless required by law.

6. Transfers abroad

Some data is processed in the European Union, whose level of protection Switzerland recognises as adequate, or in the USA (Google, Microsoft). These transfers rely on the recipients’ certification under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on standard contractual clauses.

7. How long data is kept

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: no more than 24 months after the last exchange.
  • Client data: for the duration of our work together, then as long as the law requires (in particular 10 years for accounting records).
  • Analytics data: for the periods set in the tools concerned (no more than 14 months for Google Analytics).
  • Server logs: for a limited period, for security purposes.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the administration area and to the enquiries received is protected and restricted. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, however.

9. Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • ask for access to your data and a copy of it;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted;
  • withdraw your consent where processing is based on it;
  • receive your data in a common format (portability).

Write to me at dmytro.nik.1991@gmail.com: I reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated, for example when a new tool is added to the site. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
